Mangaluru: Protest march by 50,000 Hindus against Communal Violence Bill

Recently, a mammoth protest rally was taken out by ‘Hindu hit-rakshna Vedika’ and other pro-Hindu organizations in Mangaluru city against the proposed Anti-Communal Violence Bill 2011. The rally started from Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Circle culminating into a huge meeting on Nehru Grounds.

About 50,000 Hindus attended the protest meeting. Dr. K. Prabhakat Bhatt, the zonal coordinator of RSS said while addressingthe gathering that it was impossible to establish peace by targeting Hindus. Some clauses in the anti-communal riots Bill are harmful and against welfare of Hindus. National Advisory Committee, under the leadership of Sonia Gandhi, is trying to thrust such Act upon Hindus which even the notorious dictators could not enact in the past. It is an attack on peace-loving Hindus. By bringing in such nasty Act, Sonia Gandhi is trying to fool this country; but it will not be possible for her, stated Mr. Bhat.(Hindus should be ready to oust Congress rulers who are trying to pass an Act which in a way grants permission to oppress Hindus, with an eye on the Muslim votes and fpr establishment of Hindu Nation. – Editor SP)

The meeting was attended by Mr. P. Waman Shenoy, the zonal-‘Sanghchalak’ of RSS, Mr. S. Ramesh, the President of ‘Hindu Hitrakshan Vedika’, its general secretary Mr. Harish Acharya and other leaders of RSS and Pro-Hindu organizations. Hindu Janajagruti Samiti also participated in the rally.
