Chennai : BJP leader and former Union minister Subramanian Swamy on Sunday said that the automobile
industry should focus on research and development of cars that run on hydrogen cell based-fuel for the country to escape its dependence on crude oil.
Speaking at a session organised by the Jain International Trade Organisation here, Swamy said that the US was posing stumbling blocks for research into the technology as many of its companies had invested huge amounts in infrastructure for crude oil extraction and refining.
“The US has huge amounts of oil. The oil companies there have also developed huge infrastructure in this sector. Therefore, they do not want other countries to develop alternatives such as hydrogen cell fuels,” he said.
Painting a grim picture of the current status of the economy, Swamy alleged that the slide in the value of the rupee was connected to short selling of the currency by “a son and a son-in-law,” who frequently camp in Singapore and Dubai. “You saw a revival of the rupee the moment I exposed this,” he said. Swamy said that if he became the Finance Minister again, he would like to abolish income tax in the country.
On the recent FDI measures in the aviation sector, Swamy said that it was yet another scam in the making. “I have challenged the nod for the Jet-Etihad deal in the Supreme Court. This is something we cannot allow.”
Executive vice chairman of Ashok Leyland R Seshasayee said that the state of the economy had a lot to do with failure to create public goods and services, which was essential for a robust growth of private goods and services. In this regard, he said the country needed a strong and stable government.
Chennai: The food security bill is disastrous and should never have been passed in Parliament, said former
law minister, Dr Subramanian Swamy of the BJP, who kept 100-odd businessmen from the Jain community in Chennai spellbound with his vision for the growth of the Indian economy.
“I certainly think that any future government should scrap it,” Dr Swamy said while addressing businessmen at a Sunday morning meeting organised by the Chennai chapter of the Jain International Trade Organisation.
Noting that Indira Gandhi had tried something similar to a food security bill by nationalising wholesale trade in 1974, but failed miserably and denationalised it, Dr Swamy questioned how the government would buy 700 million tonnes of foodgrains and distribute it to about 83 to 84 per cent of people at 90 per cent subsidy and charge only 10 per cent of the market price.
“The government has drawn up a budget of Rs 1.5 lakh crore for implementing the food security bill. When I asked a senior Planning Commision member about where the money would come from, he replied that the government would print notes. But what will happen when the prices rise next year, I asked. He answered that we still don’t know which government will be saddled with implementing it,” Dr Swamy revealed.
Talking about the growth rate of the Indian economy which has reached 8 per cent from 3.5 per cent, Dr Swamy acknowledged the role played by former prime minister P.V. Narasimha Rao.
“The credit for accelerating growth through economic reforms really belongs to Narasimha Rao who had the political gumption to get it done. Anybody can make blueprints. But you need to practically implement it,” Dr Swamy said, adding that the former PM should be given the Bharat Ratna.
On future opportunities available for businessmen, Dr Swamy said the country should look at the area of hydrogen fuel cells. “We can’t go on depending upon foreign countries for crude oil. We should do more research on hydrogen fuel cells and start using them for our fuel requirements,” he added. He also suggested that people look into the manufacture of solar cooking equipment and harness solar power.

वात्सल्य ग्राम में आयोजित पत्रकारिता समारोह में हिस्सा लेने आए डॉ. स्वामी ने पत्रकारों से बातचीत में कहा कि भ्रष्टाचार से कमाया हुआ ७० लाख करोड़ काला धन विदेशी बैंकों में जमा है। इस धनराशि के आने पर सरकार को लोगों पर टैक्स लगाने की आवश्यकता नहीं होगी। देश की प्रगति के लिए कृषि निर्यात नीति बननी चाहिए, जिससे यहां के किसानों का उत्पाद अन्य देशों में बिके। इससे किसानों को लाभ मिलेगा। नरेंद्र मोदी ने गुजरात में ऐसा ही करके दिखाया है।
उन्होंने कहा कि आतंकवाद के खिलाफ हिंदुस्तान को विराट चेहरा पेश करना होगा। पाकिस्तान और तालिबान आतंकवाद को बढ़ावा दे रहे हैं। तुष्टीकरण की राजनीति हावी होने की वजह से देश में हिंदू द्वितीय श्रेणी का नागरिक बन गया है। उन्होंने मुजफ्फरनगर दंगा और भाजपा की अकोला रैली पर प्रदेश सरकार की लगाई रोक पर बोलने से परहेज किया।

14 September 2013 11:55 : राजधानी दिल्ली में बीते वर्ष 16 दिसम्बर को चलती बस में मेडिकल की छात्रा के साथ हुए गैंगरेप मामले में चार दोषियों को पांसी की सजा सुनाए जाने का अमेरीका ने स्वागत किया है। आपको बता दें कि इस गैंगरेप की इस घटना के बाद देश में जो गुस्सा दिखाई दिया था उसी तरफ विदेशों में भी इस घटना पर कड़ी प्रतिक्रिया हुई थी।
अमेरिकी विदेश विभाग की प्रवक्ता मैरी हर्फ ने कहा कि हमें इस बात को लेकर खुशी है कि भारतीय न्याय व्यवस्था ने स्वयं को साबित किया है और अदालत ने इस जघन्य हमले के आरोपियों को दोषी करार देकर उन्हें सजा सुनायी है।
हर्फ ने कहा कि भारत में विश्व में अन्य सभी देशों की तरह ही लिंग आधारित हिंसा एक चुनौती बनी हुई है। हम इससे निपटने और पूरे विश्व में लोगों के साथ मिलकर काम करने पर ध्यान केंद्रित कर रहे हैं।
उन्होंने कहा कि विदेश मंत्री जॉन केरी ने इस मुद्दे पर अपने विचार रखे थे और पीड़ित की वीरता तथा न्याय के लिए उसकी लड़ाई का उल्लेख किया था।
गैंगरेप के इस मामले में दिल्ली की साकेत कोर्ट ने शुक्रवार को चारों दोषियों को फांसी की सजा सुनाई है।
New Delhi, Wed Sep 11 2013 : The Supreme Court Tuesday dismissed Subramanian Swamy's petition
seeking contempt proceedings against Union Finance Minister P Chidambaram and his son Karthi Chidambaram for allegedly threatening him with a defamation suit in Singapore to prevent him from pursuing the 2G case in India.
A Bench of Justices G S Singhvi and K S Radhakrishnan held that Swamy failed to make out a case for contempt under the law.
It noted Swamy failed to establish a link between Singaporean Venture Advantage Strategic Consulting Pvt Ltd, allegedly controlled by Karthi, which filed the defamation suit against him in Singapore for publishing some material on internet, and his pursuing Aircel-Maxis deal in the Supreme Court.
Swamy's petition claimed that Advantage Strategic Consulting Singapore Pvt Ltd, a company substantially owned and controlled by Karthi, arranged to file a defamation suit against him in a Singapore court. He alleged that by filing the suit, they sought to obstruct administration of justice.
New Delhi: BJP leader Subramanian Swamy today moved the Delhi High Court challenging the Centre’s
clearance given to proposed low-cost airline AirAsia India. The Supreme Court had on August 16 asked the senior politician, who had earlier approached the apex court, to move the Delhi High Court with his plea. Swamy’s plea, in which he has questioned the action taken by the government under the policy, is likely to be listed for hearing on Wednesday.
He said Foreign Investment Promotion Board (FIPB) cleared the proposal but the airline does not exist and FIPB cannot give nod to greenfield projects. Malaysia’s largest budget-carrier AirAsia has set up a joint venture with the Tata Group and Telestra Tradeplace to launch the regional airline in India. AirAsia India will be based in Chennai in which the Malaysian carrier will hold a 49 per cent stake. Initially, AirAsia plans to invest USD 30 million in the company. In his PIL, Swamy has challenged the clearance granted to the proposed airline on the ground that according to the policy, foreign investment is only permitted for an existing airline but AirAsia India was not an existing carrier.

Expressing his displeasure over the juvenile accused being sentenced to just three years at a reformatory home in Court challenging or asking for the quashing of this order on the grounds that it has been passed on an incomplete law.

"So therefore, this juvenile may be in the child rehabilitation center for some time, but then ultimately the case is going to be opened," he added.
The inquiry against the juvenile, who had said he is innocent, was completed on August 5, but the ruling was deferred repeatedly because of a Supreme Court case filed by Swamy which seeks to change the legal definition of a juvenile.
Delivering its first verdict in the gang-rape of a student on a moving bus in Delhi in December last year, a Juvenile Court earlier today held the youngest accused guilty of all offences and sentenced him to three years at a reformatory home.
The parents of the 23-year-old girl, who was assaulted and raped by six men in a moving bus, expressed their displeasure with the verdict and said that they would challenge the ruling.
"This kind of justice is meaningless, unacceptable. If the accused gets only three years for rape and murder, he might as well be allowed to go free," said the victim's mother.
The fatal attack on the 23-year-old physiotherapy intern provoked national outrage and impelled an overhaul of archaic laws to punish sexual crimes against women.
Six men were arrested for assaulting the student and her male friend with an iron rod.
One of them was 17 at the time of the attack. The charges against him include murder and rape.
The girl's family had asked for the death penalty for all six men accused of the barbaric attack and said the juvenile should be tried as an adult as a special case, given the sheer depravity of the crime.
The Supreme Court had earlier on August 22, while admitting a plea seeking fresh interpretation of the term 'juvenile' in the statute on the basis of mental and intellectual maturity of minor offenders, gave permission to the Juvenile Justice Board to deliver its verdict against one of the accused in the brutal gangrape.
The juvenile was one of the six accused arrested in the case. While the juvenile faced inquiry before the Juvenile Justice Board (JJB), the four adult accused are being tried before a fast track court.
The 23-year-old paramedical student was raped, beaten and tortured by six men on a moving bus in South Delhi area on December 16 last year.
CHENNAI : DMK today urged the Centre to expedite implementation of the Rs 2,427 crore Sethusamudram
Shipping Canal Project and welcomed the Union Government's proposal to file a petition against the stay on the work given by the Supreme Court.
"On behalf of DMK, we urge the Centre to take measures to accelerate efforts in order to thwart attempts made by some people to obstruct the project", DMK spokeman and MP T K S Elangovan said in a statement.
He welcomed the recent cabinet decision to file a petition against the Supreme Court stay on implementing the project.
The Cabinet Committee on Political Affairs had recently given the nod for the Centre to file an affidavit against the stay.
"Since DMK will get the credit if the project is implemented, various attempts are being made by (Tamil Nadu Chief Minister) Jayalalithaa to stall it and so it is facing obstacles", he said.
Elangovan claimed the project on completion would boost business in Tamil Nadu as cargo handling in ports would get a fillip, besides generating 50,000 direct and indirect jobs.
"Coastal security will also be enhanced and eight crore mandays work will be created each year because of the project."
Sethusamudram project is aimed at constructing a shorter navigational route around India's southern tip by breaching the mythological 'Ram Sethu' bridging the southern tip of the country to Sri Lanka.
The project has been put on hold after petitions were filed in the Supreme Court opposing demolition of Ram Sethu.
Tamil Nadu Government has pleaded with the Supreme Court that the project be scrapped as it would adversely affect marine biodiversity and also that the Centre be directed to declare Ram Sethu as a national monument.
Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Congress President Sonia Gandhi had formally inaugurated the project during UPA-1 before the project ran into troubled waters.
In July, DMK staged a state-wide demonstration, demanding speedy implementation of the project.
Coastal Action Network (CAN) has described the Sethu project as ecologically destructive further demanding the
scrapping of it.
In their statements, the officials from CAN say that the Sethusamudram project can prove ecologically destructive and economically unviable. Rather the Adam's Bridge or `Ram Sethu' should be declared as an international geographical heritage site, they added.
The above recommendation came from the experts during a press conference. Addressing the issue, Mr. Ossie Fernandes, co-convener of the Network said that the route 4A and Route 6 of the project are not feasible.
Supreme Court has already completed the hearings in the case and is expected to soon pass orders on the project. The case was prior handled by the apex court, which in 2007 directed suspension of the work on the project. It further instructed the Centre to perform a study and learn the impacts that the proposed new alignment could bring with it.
The Dr. Pachouri Committee Report filed in the Supreme Court also favored the non-feasibility of some of the project routes.
While speaking upon the project, Mr. K. Gopalakrishnan, former director of the Geological Survey of India said that the project could lead to recurrence of volcanic vents and further disruption to the environment.

आज पुरे देश में हिंदूद्रोही मिडीया पूज्य आसारामजी बापू जैसे हिंदू संतोंपर घिनौने आरोप लगा रहा है । अभीतक बापूजी से पुलिस ने पुछताछ भी नहीं की है, फिर भी मिडीया उन्हें लगातार ‘बलात्कारी’ कह रही है । परंतू यह मिडीया कल अगर बापूजी पर लगाए गए आरोप असत्य साबित होंगे, तो इस बारे में एक मिनीट की न्यूज भी नही दिखाएगी । हिंदूओ, जागे एवं इस मिडीया का पुरी तरह से बहिष्कार करे । - संपादक
लम्बे समय से संत श्री आसारामजी बापू व आश्रम को बदनाम करने के उद्देश्य से तरह-तरह के आरोप लगाये जा रहे हैं, परंतु सभी आरोप झूठे और निराधार साबित हुए हैं । अब एक नयी सोची-समझी साजिश के तहत शाहजहाँपुर (उ.प्र.) की एक लड़की को मोहरा बनाया गया है ।
इस साजिश को झूठी, निराधार एवं मनगढ़ंत सिद्ध करनेवाले कुछ तथ्य इस प्रकार हैं -
लड़की के द्वारा छेड़खानी के झूठे आरोप लगवाये गये और फैलाया गया कि बलात्कार का आरोप लगाया गया है । यह भी प्रचारित किया गया कि मेडिकल जाँच रिपोर्ट में भी इसकी पुष्टि हुई है । जबकि वास्तविकता तो यह है कि लड़की की मेडिकल जाँच रिपोर्ट में बलात्कार की बात को पूरी तरह खारिज कर दिया गया है । जोधपुर पुलिस ने भी स्वीकार किया है कि दिल्ली पुलिस ने केस गलत तरीके से दर्ज किया है । इतना ही नहीं, लड़की द्वारा पुलिस में की गयी एफआईआर व उसके बयान में ऐसा कहीं नहीं कहा गया है कि उसके साथ बलात्कार किया गया । फिर भी मीडिया द्वारा झूठी खबरें फैलाकर तथा करोड़ों लोगों की आस्था के केन्द्र पूज्य बापूजी के लिए अपमानजनक शब्दों का प्रयोग करके देशवासियों की धार्मिक भावनाओं को ठेस पहुँचायी गयी । यह कितना बड़ा अपराध है !
आरोप लगानेवाली लड़की के परिवार ने घटना के ५ दिन बाद एफआईआर क्यों लिखवायी ? तुरंत क्यों नहीं लिखवायी ?
लड़की है शाहजहाँपुर (उ.प्र.) की, उसने घटना बतायी जोधपुर (राजस्थान) की, और फिर एफआईआर दर्ज करायी दिल्ली में । इसीसे साफ होता है कि यह एक सुनियोजित साजिश है ।
लड़की मणई फार्म हाउस में आते ही बार-बार ‘बापूजी की कुटिया देखनी है – कुटिया देखनी है’ यह बात बोल रही थी । इस बात के कई साक्षी हैं । इससे यह साबित होता है कि उसको कुटिया देखकर कोई साजिश करनी थी ।
लड़की एफआईआर में जिस कमरे की घटना बता रही है, उस कमरे और कुटिया के गेट की दूरी मात्र ५०-६० फीट है और लड़की ऐसा बता रही है कि मेरी माँ कुटिया के गेट पर बैठी थी । उस रूम से कोई १६ साल तो क्या ६ साल का बच्चा भी चिल्लाता है तो शांत वातावरण होने से आवाज स्वाभाविक ही ५०० फीट तक जाती है और यह लड़की बार-बार चिल्लाती रही ऐसा उसने एफआईआर में लिखवाया । तो ५०-६० फीट पर बैठी लड़की की माँ को उसका चिल्लाना सुनायी क्यों नहीं दिया ? और उसके पिताजी जिस कमरे में रुके थे, वह कमरा करीब २०० फीट पर फार्म हाउस मालिक के घर के ऊपर है और नीचे घर में फार्म हाउस मालिक के घर के १० लोग रुके थे । इन सभीको चिल्लाने की कोई आवाज क्यों सुनायी नहीं दी ?
एफआईआर में लड़की ने बताया कि जब मैं चिल्लायी तो बापूजी ने मेरा मुँह दबाकर रखा और एक से डेढ़ घंटे तक मेरे शरीर पर हाथ घुमाते रहे । अब क्या यह सम्भव है कि एक हाथ से मुँह दबाकर रखा और दूसरा हाथ एक-डेढ़ घंटे तक उसके शरीर पर घुमाते रहे ? मुँह दबाने के निशान भी लड़की के मुँह पर नहीं थे । अगर होते तो फार्म हाउस के सदस्यों को दिखते ।
एफआईआर में लिखवाया गया है कि घटना के तुरंत बाद लड़की अपनी माँ से मिली और अपने पिताजी के पास गयी और उसने न ही अपनी माँ से कुछ जिक्र किया, न ही अपने पिताजी से ऐसा कुछ बताया । ऐसा क्यों ?
फार्म हाउस मालिक के घर की महिलाएँ बता रही थीं कि घटनावाले दिन (१५.०८.२०१३) रात्रि करीब ९.३० बजे पहले उसका पिता, उसके थोड़ी देर बाद (२-५ मिनट बाद) माँ और बेटी घर में आती हैं और पीने का पानी लेकर ऊपर के रूम में सोने चली जाती हैं और घरवाले लोग घर के अंदर से ऊपर जाने का रास्ता रोज के नियमानुसार बंद कर देते हैं । ऊपर के रूम से घर में नीचे आने का एक ही दरवाजा है । वह भी बंद था और उस दरवाजे के आगे घर की सारी महिलाएँ सो रही थीं तो यह घटना कैसे सम्भव हो सकती है ?
दिनांक १५.०८.२०१३ को रात्रि ८ बजे लड़की की सहेली कृतिका ने लड़की की माँ और लड़की को कहा कि ‘‘फार्म हाउस मालिक के घर बाहर से आनेवाले भाई लोग रुकनेवाले हैं तो आप दोनों हमारे साथ पास में ही जहाँ सब बहनें रुकी हैं, वहाँ चलो ।’’ उसी समय लड़की अचानक बीच में बोल पड़ी कि ‘‘अगर कमरे में जगह नहीं है तो मुझे छत पर बाहर सोना पड़े तो भी सो जाऊँगी पर यहाँ से कहीं नहीं जाऊँगी ।’’ इससे स्पष्ट हो गया कि रात में उसको वहाँ अपनी उपस्थिति दिखाकर साजिश की बुनियाद खड़ी करनी थी ।
लड़की व उसका परिवार 16 तारीख को सुबह करीब 8 बजे खाना खाने के लिए फार्म हाउस मालिक के घर में नीचे आया और लड़की, उसके परिवार और दिलीपभाई के परिवार ने साथ में बैठकर सहज में ही खाना खाया और उसके बाद लड़की नीचे घर में फार्म हाउस मालिक के डेढ़ साल के पोते को लेकर अच्छे से हँसी-खेली और खुश थी । अगर कोई घटना घटती तो उसके चेहरे पर कोई मायूसी होती, डर होता, जो कि नहीं था ।
लड़की छिन्दवाड़ा गुरुकुल छोड़ने से पहले अपने फ्रेंड्स को बताती है कि ‘‘मैं इस गुरुकुल में दुबारा किसी भी कीमत पर नहीं आऊँगी । मैं छिन्दवाडा गुरुकुल की नींव हिला दूँगी ।’’ इसीसे पता चलता है कि लड़की के दिमाग में शुरू से ही कुछ योजना चल रही थी ।
दिनांक १४ अगस्त की शाम करीब ६ बजे भक्तों की प्रार्थना पर बापूजी ने घूमने जाते वक्त कहा कि जिसको कुटिया के दर्शन करने हों, वह दर्शन करने जा सकता है । उस समय लड़की, उसकी माँ व उसके साथ पढ़नेवाली सहेली व अन्य कई भक्त लोगों ने कुटिया की परिक्रमा की । कुटिया के अंदर का जो विवरण इस लड़की ने बताया वही विवरण, अन्य भक्तों से पूछने पर वे भी सही-सही बता रहे हैं । तो क्या विवरण बतानेवाले सभी भक्तों के साथ भी यह घटना घटी है ? फिर लड़की ने वह विवरण बताया, इस बात को इतना बड़ा मुद्दा क्यों बनाया जा रहा है ?
इन सभी तथ्यों के आधार पर यह स्पष्ट निष्कर्ष निकलता है कि पूज्य बापूजी को एक सुनियोजित षड्यंत्र के तहत फँसाया जा रहा है ।
पिछले ५ वर्षों से आश्रम के ऊपर बच्चों पर तांत्रिक विधि करने आदि के झूठे, मनगढ़ंत आरोप श्रृंखलाबद्ध तरीके से लगाये गये । लेकिन सर्वोच्च न्यायालय ने दिनांक ०९.११.२०१२ को दिये अपने फैसले में इस प्रकार के सभी आरोपों को पूरी तरह खारिज कर दिया । साजिशकर्ताओं के हथकंडे बने राजू लम्बू, अमृत वैद्य, राजेश सोलंकी, सुखाराम ठग... सभी षडयंत्रकारियों को जेल जाना पड़ा ।

31 Aug (Lucknow ) : BJP leader Subramanian Swamy yesterday met Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav and handed over a Delhi High Court notice seeking Uttar Pradesh government's response to a plea calling for a probe against Union Finance Minister P Chidambaram in connection with the 1987 Hashimpura massacre.
"I met Akhilesh and handed over the notice to Chief Secretary Javed Usmani in his presence," Swami told PTI.
Delhi High Court had on Aug. 6 sought UP government's response to Swamy's plea seeking a further probe to ascertain the alleged role of Chidambaram in the said massacre.
In the appeal, Swamy sought further inquiry saying, "It was admitted on the floor of the Parliament by the then Minister of State for Home Affairs (Chidambaram) that the situation was calm between May 19 and May 22, 1987. Yet the trial judge states there was violence.
"Hence, even at this late stage, an investigation into this issue is essential for complete justice," Swamy said.
Sixteen PAC personnel are facing trial for the killing of 42 persons in Hashimpura area of Meerut district.
Swamy said Delhi High Court would hear the matter on November 19.
The controversial Sethusamudram project is back on the Centre's agenda. The UPA government would soon file an affidavit in the Supreme Court to get a nod for the project worth about Rs.25,000 crore that was first approved eight years ago but still not implemented.
The Cabinet Committee on Political Affairs (CCPA) on Thursday evening gave the go-ahead to file the old affidavit again.
Minister of New and Renewable Energy Farooq Abdullah on Friday confirmed the government decision. "We have decided to take it up again... It is not about elections," he said.
"There will always be protests, but it is in our interest," the minister added.
The 167 km long canal project in the Palk Strait was approved in May 2005 but it soon ran into trouble and dredging work had to be suspended. It aims to shorten the sea route between the eastern and western coasts of India.
However, various Hindu groups have opposed the project, saying it would damage the mythical Ram Setu or Adam's Bridge, built during the epic Ramayana era.
Resolute to fight the Centre's decision on the project, BJP leader Subramanian Swamy said, "They can file any affidavit they want, but they will have to face me in court."
The R.K. Pachauri Committee, appointed by the government after the Supreme Court asked the government to explore an alternative alignment, had said that the project was unviable in all ways.
The Centre's affidavit questioning the existence of Lord Ram or Ram Setu set off a political storm. The government was then forced to withdraw the affidavit and file a fresh one on February 2008. It sought vacation of interim orders restraining the project.
In April 2013, the Supreme Court asked the Tamil Nadu government for its views on the project after the Centre said it was going to implement the project.

मुलाकात की। इस भेंट का संबंध उत्तर प्रदेश के मेरठ में 1987 में हुए साम्प्रदायिक दंगे में पीएसी द्वारा की गयी फायरिंग को लेकर दिल्ली हाईकोर्ट में दायर की गयी डॉ. स्वामी की जनहित याचिका से है।
मुख्यमंत्री से मुलाकात के बाद वरिष्ठ भाजपा नेता लालजी टंडन के आवास पर पहुंचे स्वामी ने बताया कि मेरठ के हाशिमपुरा में 1987 में पीएसी द्वारा की गरी फायरिंग में तमाम बेगुनाह मारे गए थे। उस समय मौजूदा गृह मंत्री पी. चिदंबरम देश के आंतरिक सुरक्षा मंत्री थे। डॉ. स्वामी ने अपनी याचिका में चिदंबरम की भूमिका के अलावा इस मामले में ट्रायल कोर्ट के निर्णय को भी चुनौती दी थी।
डॉ. स्वामी ने बताया कि मामले की सुनवायी के दौरान छह अगस्त को दिल्ली हाईकोर्ट ने उत्तर प्रदेश सरकार को अपना पक्ष रखने के लिए नोटिस जारी करते हुए पूछा था कि क्या वह स्वयं उत्तर प्रदेश सरकार को नोटिस (दस्ती) उपलब्ध कराना चाहेंगे, जिस पर उन्होंने सहमति दे दी थी। डॉ. स्वामी ने बताया कि मुख्यमंत्री से मुलाकात के दौरान प्रदेश के मुख्य सचिव जावेद उस्मानी ने नोटिस रिसीव किया। इस मामले की अगली सुनवायी 19 नवंबर को होगी। लालजी टंडन से मुलाकात के बाद स्वामी पटना के लिए रवाना हो गए।

Swamy corroborates the view that corruption can be curbed if we remain positive and walk the extra mile.
In an exclusive conversation with Ameesh Devgan of Zee Media in Bharat
Bhagya Vidhata’s ‘Mudda Aapka’, Swamy pitched for making people believe
that anyone can be booked for corruption if found guilty.
He said, “Corruption begins at the highest level and goes down the
line. We need to catch big fish to send right signal down the line to
end corruption.”
Swamy suggested three ways to curb corruption- 1. Finish discretionary
powers of officers as much as possible; abolish personal income tax at
least for the next 10 years. 2. Catch big fish and punish them so they
also fear from any wrongdoing. 3. Get away with the growing trend of
praising people on the basis of their money.
But, do we also require tough laws to curb corruption in the country?
Swamy believes that anti-corruption laws that are already in force are
good enough. He said, “There is no problem with the present laws. In
laws available, anyone found guilty can be booked for corruption. When I
raised the 2g matter everyone said that no one will be arrested but in
the end the Supreme Court cancelled 122 licenses.”
Swamy also called for changing the attitude in dealing with things. He
averred, “We should enthuse people that corruption can be curbed instead
of spreading negativity. We should also encourage the people to join
politics which is not considered as a good profession since
independence.”
Swamy called donation to political parties as ‘dakshana’. He said, “We
have a ritual in our country that people pay ‘dakshana’ to saints.
Similarly, people fund parties because we work for them.”

Patna, Feb. 17 (ANI):Janata Party president Subramanian Swamy on Sunday alleged that the UPA Government doesn't want the truth behind the alleged corruption in Agusta Westland deal to come out because Congress president Sonia Gandhi's family is involved in the deal.
"The scam is not surprising for me. Another chopper was selected in the beginning of the deal, but citing some technicalities, they changed the company. It was only for the commission, and the Nehru-Gandhifamily has acquired the most part of the commission. About half of the total money has gone to Sonia's two sisters in Italy," said Swamy.
"You see, wherever the Nehru-Gandhi family is involved, corruption occurred. No incident of bribery or corruption took place during the tenure of late Prime Ministers Lal Bahadur Shastri and Morarji Desai," he added.
Reacting to the Italian court's refusal for sharing information and documents, Swamy said: "Naturally the court will not share the information like this. The CBI should have to first gone to a court here and obtained a letter seeking information or documents. The Italian court will be bound to share information after that letter. But, the government is not serious, they are investigating in the matter just for the sake of investigation."
According to media reports, the Italian court, which is hearing the case of alleged corruption in deal, has informed the Indian embassy in Rome on Saturday that the investigation is at an initial stage and the documents can only be shared with the parties in the case, arguing that the information is covered by secrecy.
The Defence Ministry has directed the CBI to probe the matter and two officials from the CBI will also be visiting Italy.

But since the new idol of Vagdevi is seized by Madhya Pradesh government and kept in Gwalior jail, Hindus can't offer anything to Saraswati Mata. On friday, Muslims are allowed to offer Namaz in Bhojshala complex. Vasant (Basant) Panchami, also known as Mata Saraswati Jayanti is the only day in the year on which Hindus are allowed to perform full-fledge puja by taking idol or photo of Mata Saraswati inside Bhojshala. So Muslims can offer Namaz in Bhojshala 52 times in a year, but Hindus can perform puja only once in a year. It should be noted that Dhar, where Bhojshala is located, has 16 mosques to offer Namaz.

From the evidences, it is amply clear that Bhojshala is nothing but a Hindu temple and hence it should be handed over to Hindus completely.
The Government should restrict Muslims permanently to enter and offer Namaz in Bhojshala.
Today it is observed that few fanatics and miscreants are damaging ancient idols of Deities and other signs of temple. This damage should stop immediately and Government should ensure that these idols and signs should not get harmed.

February 12 New Delhi : Janata Party chief Subramanian Swamy on Tuesday welcomed the latest disclosure in the 2G spectrum case that reveals that the CBI suspects its own prosecutor of aiding the accused, and said that it has given a huge boost to the prosecution case itself instead of the opposite.
"I think what has happened is that it has given a huge boost to the prosecution case itself instead of the opposite because this was happening, there was internal sabotage we knew that. And in Chidambaram case, I could see it blatantly that there was sabotage from the CBI," said Swamy.
"And now, we have information that it is the CBI, which conducted the sting operation. So, there is hope that the honest elements in the CBI will now dominate and we will proceed and get to the root of the matter. And I think this corruption case goes all the way to the top and one by one we will now proceed further," he added.
A Parliament panel will today examine the CBI's allegation that its lawyer in the 2G case was colluding with a representative of one of the companies accused of criminal conspiracy and cheating to land an out-of-turn mobile network license in 2008 from then Telecom Minister A. Raja. The CBI has confirmed that it has removed its prosecutor, AK Singh, based on audiotapes that purportedly reveal him advising Unitech Managing Director Sanjay Chandra on his legal strategy.
Chandra along with Raja and 12 others have been charged with conspiracy, forgery and cheating in the 2G case.
Raja is accused of tinkering with procedure and policy to help Unitech and other companies to get the 2G licences. They are also charged with benefiting Unitech to make windfall gains by selling stakes at a premium to Telenor.
The trial is currently in the court of O.P. Saini in Delhi's Patiala House. The case is being tried by a special CBI court in Delhi and the Supreme Court is monitoring the CBI's investigations.
