Sampath Iyengar has accepted to be the eighth member of the Committee. This Committee will now open branches in various States of
as well as in 14 other cities abroad to co-ordinate the activities of
international organizations. India
The ACACI was formed in the meeting convened by me in Chennai on October 14, 2011 to take effective action against corrupt activities within the present legal framework. The Anna Hazare movement focuses on bringing new laws while the Baba Ramdev’s movement is focused on mobilizing the masses to revolt against corruption. The Committee supports both these movements and will work in harmony with these two movements.
