Modi is right. Don’t blame the rupee slide on world economy.

Administering the lie detector test to political grandstanding
"The prime minister should explain to the people of the nation as to why only the Indian rupee is depreciating while the currencies of the neighbouring countries are not facing such a challenge."

Narendra Modi
at the Gujarat BJP executive in Rajkot on June 8
Modi is right. Don’t blame the rupee slide on world economy.
The Indian rupee tumbled and reached a new low at `56.40 per dollar. Reason? The world economy is tanking, the fall of Greece and all that. At least that’s what the Manmohan Singh government would have us believe.

But leave it to Narendra Modi to do a little math. He found that the currencies of our neighbouring countries are not depreciating as much as the rupee has been.
Then we did a little math, and found he is right. The chart below shows currency values for the South Asian nations over the past four months. In this region, only Burma’s kyat has gone down by 23.90 percent, otherwise our nearest competitor is Bhutan whose currency ngultram has depreciated by 11.34 percent, a full 1.66 percent less than the rupee. Bangladesh, nowhere near the eco giant that we see ourselves as, has not seen its taka stir an inch.

In the BRICS nations, China, which we so love to compare ourselves with, faced only a 1.10 percent erosion of its yuan and Russia and South Africa have done far better than us. Of course, Brazil has taken a bigger knock than us, if that is any consolation.

So, it seems Modi is telling the truth. The world is not to blame for the knocked-down rupaiya.

Detractors insult Rahul Gandhi on Twitter!

The world has never been nice to politicos! No, we aren’t referring to disparaging remarks which are often made about David Cameron, Nicolas Sarkozy and Barack Obama! It is our very own Rahul Gandhi who is being reprimanded by detractors on Twitter. Reason? His 42nd birthday! Yes, it may sound a bit weird, but that’s what has given his critics a convincing reason to take digs at him. As far as tweets go, they are not only offensive, but the language used is also inappropriate. “Rahul Gandhi's Birthday, There is April Fool's day and there should be a June Dumb's Day.” read one tweet. And as the tweet explains, Rahul’s most special day has been called insignificant! Why else do you think the occasion has been referred to as “June Dumb’s Day”? Another user echoed the same sentiment when he wrote, "Is Poonam Pandey deciding to show us something other that what she has already ...for Rahul Gandhi's Birthday".
We get you an insight into Rahul Gandhi’s online ‘acumen’

Kalam as Prez choice of youth, says Subramanian Swamy

A day after Congress president Sonia Gandhi announced finance minister Pranab Mukherjee as the ruling alliance's choice for the coveted post, Janata Party president Subramanian Swamy said youth of the country want A.P.J Abdul Kalam to be the President of India.
"There was a demand from the side of youths to make him President. I also wanted him to contest elections. The method Congress party is using to make people comply with its choice. I came to seek advice that how we can strengthen democracy," Swamy said after meeting Kalam.
"He never told me that he is a candidate. When I was arguing that he should be a candidate, the only commitment, I got from him, earlier was that he will not announce himself as candidate," he added.
"He (Kalam) has a clean image. The youngsters and in particular the school going children like him. He did a lot for schools and colleges as President of the country. He is knowledgeable," he added.

On West Bengal chief minister and Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banerjee's rejection of Mukherjee as the presidential candidate, Swamy said: "We respect Mamata Banerjee, she has shown guts...I personally would like to see Pranab challenged."
Swamy had earlier said there is a leadership crisis in the country.
"We have a leadership crisis today. We need a leadership which takes risk and that will happen only when you elect people properly...I expect the next President will be Abdul Kalam," he said.
Sonia Gandhi had over the past few days held consultations with senior leaders and allies to zero in on a consensus for the Presidential candidate.
The latest development comes a day after Banerjee warned the Centre, and indirectly hinted at toppling the government.
Banerjee also said Dr. A.P.J. Kalam was her first choice for the President's post.
"Our formidable candidate is Kalam. They rejected the name of other candidates. So now Kalam is our candidate. We will be very happy if Kalam contest the elections and he will win the elections," said Banerjee.
"Every party should support Kalam. It should have nothing to do with politics."
"It is good if there is consensus. If there were no consensus, then we would appeal to electorates to vote according to their conscience. I have no information about it," she added, while urging the leaders of various other political outfits to back Kalam's candidature.
The presidential elections will be held on July 19. The vote count will take place on July 22.
If Mukherjee wins, he will become the nation's 13th President on July 25.
Mukherjee has served as finance minister, foreign minister and commerce minister twice and also as defence minister. He chairs most of the cabinet committees tasked with making recommendations on important issues.

Advani architect of Kalam candidature, I played Hanuman : Subramanian Swamy

The UPA regime's biggest trouble -- Janata Party president Subramanian Swamy -- made a startling admission on Thursday. Appearing on Headlines Today following an inside story in daily Mail Today on former President A.P.J. Abdul Kalam's return as one of the strongest contenders for the Rashtrapati Bhavan, Swamy revealed that he was acting as "Hanuman" at the behest of BJP veteran L.K. Advani.
Though he praised Advani for his leadership saying the latter paved the way for the return of the "missile man" as a strong contender for the Rashtrapati Bhavan, Swamy insisted that it was he who had first came out with the idea of Kalam's return as the President.

"I spoke to Advani saying that I would like to find out the possibility of Kalam becoming the President again," Swamy told Headlines Today.

"Advani said 'go ahead and find out who all are supportive'," the man who filed several petitions against the UPA government, including those related to the massive 2G spectrum allocation scam, said.

He admitted that he was first asked to find out if Kalam would agree on his name. Kalam though agreed, he wanted a consensus over his name. But Swamy said he convinced the former scientist saying that unanimous decision was unlikely.

"I told him 'don't announce that you will not contest and do not heed to the rumours that are doing the rounds. Believe me, you can get 55 per cent votes in the electoral college'," Swamy said.

Asked if he should be credited for the sudden change of political scenario in the country, Swamy said, "I would compliment Advani rather than myself... He is a great leader... If anybody is the architect, then it is Advani. I just played the role of Hanuman."

Swamy also admitted to speaking to various political parties in and outside the United Progressive Alliance (UPA) apart from the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) and the process of consultation with the leaders was still on.

The inside story

It was during an NDA meeting at the residence of Advani about 10 days ago where Swamy was asked to explore the possibility of bringing Kalam on board to be a presidential candidate.

Besides Advani, BJP was represented by party president Nitin Gadkari, Sushma Swaraj and Jaswant Singh. The other leaders present included Shiromani Akali Dal's Sukhbir Singh Badal and Shiv Sena's Sanjay Raut.
Swamy started working on the mission the very next day meeting Kalam at his Delhi residence. Kalam was unwilling to throw his hat in the ring unless he was a consensus candidate. He was able to convince Kalam.

Swamy then rushed back to Advani's house to prepare the rest of the game plan. The next step was to reach out to the UPA allies, particularly Samajwadi Party and Trinamool Congress. Since SP chief Mulayam Singh Yadav had originally backed Kalam's name in 2002, he was easily convinced.

Though the SP resolved to back Kalam at the meeting of its parliamentary board on June 11, it kept the decision secret. However, with some doubts left in his mind, it required another round for Yadav with Jaswant Singh to make up his mind once again on Kalam's candidature.

Swamy then convinced Trinamool chief Mamata Banerjee which was the tougher part of his assignment.
After the two UPA associates agreed, the political drama in Delhi was there for everybody to see. Banerjee and Yadav met many times in the capital making the dramatic announcement of their choices on Wednesday evening.

Kashmir defines Indian identity : Subramanian Swamy

Dr. Subramanian Swamy
Dr. Subramanian Swamy

India should henceforth refuse to engage in any dialogue on Kashmir except one in which the other side accepts the whole of Kashmir as an integral and inalienable part of India.

Recently, some columnists have advocated that India should let go of Kashmir. While not wanting to wear patriotism on my sleeve, I would say that the silent suffering majority of India wants none of this. The ‘Kashmir issue,’ in fact, can no more be solved by dialogue either with the Pakistanis or the Hurriyat, leave alone the constitutional impossibility of allowing it to secede. This is because we do not know what kind of Pakistan there will be in a few years from now.

The Pakistan army today, according to all informed sources available to me, has a majority of captains and colonels who owe allegiance to the Taliban and Islamist fundamentalism. In another five years, these middle ranks will reach, through normal promotions, the corps commander level. We know that the government in Pakistan has always been controlled by the seven corps commanders of the army. Therefore a Taliban government in Pakistan five years hence seems a highly probable outcome. Jihad, that is, war against India will be the logical consequence of that outcome.

Since the Hurriyat in Kashmir is an organisation that cannot go against Pakistan, India has about five years to prepare for a decisive and defining struggle with Pakistan. We must prepare to win it to avoid the balkanisation of India. We therefore should refute those Indian columnists, academics, and politicians who crave or preen themselves on being popular in Pakistan, by sounding reasonable and secular on the issue of Kashmir.

Never part with it

Kashmir, in fact, is now our defining identity. It is a touchstone for our resolve to preserve our national integrity. The population of that State may be majority Muslim but the land and its history is predominantly Hindu. For our commitment to the survival of the ancient civilisation of India and the composite culture that secularists talk of, we have not only to win that coming inevitable war but also resolve never to part with Kashmir.

I will not blame the jihadis for the coming war. They are, after all, programmed that way by their understanding of Islamist theology. I will blame ourselves for not understanding their understanding of the fundamentals of Islam. It is foolish therefore in the face of this reality to expound the banal sentiment that “all Muslims are not terrorists or fanatics.” Of course that proposition is true.

However, the Islam of the cutting edge of Muslim fundamentalism by leaders such as Osama Bin Laden is in Sira and Hadith, and now increasingly followed in Pakistan. It calls on the faithful to wage war against the infidels (who cannot strike back effectively) and crush them. This is why the Kashmiri Hindu Pandits were driven out in the first place.

The struggle for Kashmir by the jihadis is thus not just for independence. By their own declaration, they want a Darul Islam there, with the state becoming a part of the Caliphate. We cannot allow, in our national security interests, such a state to emerge on our frontiers. Hence the question of parting with Kashmir cannot arise. We have to go all out to retain Kashmir as part of India wherein Hindus and Muslims can live in peace and harmony.

Pakistanis often cite the United Nations resolutions on Kashmir to argue for a plebiscite. This obfuscates the fact of accession of the State to India. The legality of the Instrument of Accession signed in favour of India by the then Maharaja of J&K, Hari Singh, on October 26, 1947 has to prevail anyway. To disregard it will create a plethora of legal issues, including what will become the status of the Maharaja if we abrogate this Instrument and re-open the question of Partition itself. In that case, for example, will Dr. Karan Singh, Maharaja Hari Singh’s son, have a claim to be regarded again as an independent and sovereign King of J&K?

On the Junagadh issue, Pakistan held the Instrument once signed to be “final, irrevocable, and not requiring the wishes of the people to be ascertained [emphasis added].” That is the correct legal position. But the Junagadh Nawab, after signing the Instrument in favour of Pakistan, invaded the neighbouring princely states, states that had acceded to India. This violated the terms of the Indian Independence Act (1947) enacted by the British Parliament. So when the Indian Army was moved by Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel to defend these areas, the Nawab, fearful of the consequences, ran away to Pakistan. His subjects, mostly Hindu and abandoned, welcomed the Indian army to Junagadh.

Furthermore, on what legal basis can we de novo seek to ascertain the wishes of the people of J&K as Pakistan asks, when the Indian Independence Act makes no provision for this? After all, it was this same Act that created a legal entity called Pakistan, carved out from united India. India under the Act was a settled and continuing entity out which the British Parliament made a new entity called Pakistan. Never in previous history was there was a country called Pakistan. The idea itself was conceptualised as recently as 1940 and legalised only in 1947.

By what mechanism then can Pakistan seek to amend or even disregard the Act, without unwittingly undermining the legal status of Pakistan itself? That is, if the Instrument of Accession is called into question, will not Partition itself be subject to challenge as without legal basis on the same consideration?

I raise this question also because of the constitutional futility of pursuing the issue of the secession of Kashmir. In the case of Beruberi in Eastern India, the transfer of that area to Bangladesh, although agreed to, has been enmeshed in prolonged litigation in the Indian Supreme Court. This is because Article 1 of the Indian Constitution bars the de-merger of any Indian territory after 1950.

Another argument advanced by these columnists is that if Kashmiri Muslims do not want live in India, it is against human rights to force them to do so. That argument is contradicted by the Bangladesh example. The area of that country was first created by Partition. In 1971, Indian army jawans created Bangladesh out of Pakistan in circumstances well known to all. But despite that, millions of Bengali Muslims have come into India as illegal immigrants and are quite happy to be working with Hindus in India. But Partition was agreed to by Hindus for those Muslims whom Jinnah said could not bear to live under alleged Hindu hegemony. Now, after getting their territory, a large number of Bangladeshis Muslims are voting with their feet to proclaim that they are happy to live in India with Hindus.

Similarly, after getting Kashmir as an independent country, Kashmiri Muslims may, like their Bangladesh counterparts, come to live in India anyway! What then is the point of severing Kashmir from India as these columnists suggest?

India should henceforth refuse to engage in any dialogue on Kashmir except one in which the other side accepts the whole of Kashmir as an integral and inalienable part of India. The people of Kashmir should be left in no doubt in their mind where the overwhelming number of citizens of India stand on the future of the State. Therefore, those who, at this crucial juncture of our history, advocate any dilution of this stand are leading the people of Kashmir to more misery. They are encouraging the forces of jihad to keep at their nefarious activities by raising hopes that, with rising costs, India will capitulate. Any democratically elected Indian government knows that it can never capitulate on issues of national integrity and risk an upheaval. The Ramar Setu and Amarnath issues have proved that beyond doubt. Advocating letting go of Kashmir therefore is a dangerous exercise in futility.

Sonia wants rubber stamp president: Swamy

Lucknow: Janata Party chief Subramanian Swamy Thursday accused Congress president Sonia Gandhi of wanting "a rubber stamp as the next president" and said A.P.J. Abdul Kalam was best suited for the job.

Charging Gandhi with blocking good names for presidency, Swamy said the country looked towards political parties to elect "an illustrious, honest and respectable man" to occupy the Rashtrapati Bhawan.
Swamy spoke after meeting Samajwadi Party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav here in view of the presidential polls scheduled next month.
Addressing a press conference later, Swamy called for another term for Kalam, who was the president from 2002 to 2007.
He said Kalam was immensely respected by people of all age groups. "I think that Kalam is the most suited person to occupy Rashtrapati Bhawan."
If all opposition parties unite and select one candidate, the ruling party's candidate is sure to be defeated, he said.

Proclaim ‘River Ganga is Mother of Hindus’ ! - Ashwini Kumar Shrungu, Panun Kashmir

Mr. Ashwini Kumar Shrungu, President, Panun Kashmir
Mr. Ashwini Kumar Shrungu, President, Panun Kashmir

Jyeshtha Krushna 9, Kaliyug Varsha 5114

The question of existence of Ganga River turned out to be an intimate topic of Devout Hindus !

Ramnathi, Ponda (Goa) : Presently, the question of River Ganga’s existence has become more serious than the pollution. Around 300 projects are going to come up on her banks in the 50 Kilometres area and her water will be channeled through the tunnels. Consequently, a time will come after 50-60 years when she will be a river of the past. Now Hindus must firmly warn the Government that ‘River Ganga is our Mother’ and not just ‘akin to a Mother’. This was stated by Mr. Ashwini Kumar Shrungu while speaking on the subject ‘Purification of River Ganga and her existence.’

When ‘UNESCO” has declared River Ganga as ‘World Heritage’, how can permissions be given to these culture destroying projects ? The Geological and Mines as well as Environmental and Forest departments are responsible for this proposed destruction of River Ganga. If She is also going to vanish like River Saraswati, what will happen to the nearby pilgrim centres ? What will happen to thousands of Holy Kundas (Places in the river where devotees take Holy dips) ? What will happen to the seekers who go there for spiritual practice ? This is happening because today’s politicians consider Ganga River a mere source of water. She should not be considered only an object but should be looked upon as reservoir of Chaitanya (Divine Consciousness). It is the duty of every Hindu to fight for the existence of River Ganga; because, every Hindu is a child of River Ganga. We must give an ultimatum to the Government that we want River Ganga in the same way as She existed thousands of years ago
Importance of River Ganga as told by Mr. Shrungu
1. River Ganga is Mokshadayini (Bestower of Liberation) for Hindus and is a Holy treasure of Hindu culture.
2. River Ganga and Hindu culture are inseparable.
3. River Ganga flows through quake prone area. However, due to Her water, may layers are formed within the earth and they perform the function of absorbing the tremors (shocks).

Defending the Hindu women and places of worship is the prime duty of Hindus ! – Raja Singh

Jyeshtha Krushna 9, Kaliyug Varsha 5114
Mr. Thakur Raja SIngh, President, Shriram Yuva Sena

Mr. Thakur Raja SIngh, President, Shriram Yuva Sena
Ramnathi (Goa) : “We must understand that as long as the Hindus do not come on the road against oppression on Hindus anywhere in the country, the oppressions will continue to occur. It is the Dharmakartavya (Duty unto Dharma) of Hindus to protect Hindu womenfolk and places of worship such as Mutts, Temples and cows. If anyone tries to harm them, we will teach them a lesson.”Such were the assertive words of Mr. Rajasingh Thakur of Shriram Yuva Sena from Bhagyanagar, Andhra Pradesh. He was speaking on the topic ‘Oppression of pro- Hindus’ on the third day of the Convention.

The methodology of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj prevented the conversions 100%

  • We have many activists ready with us today who can successfully counter the attacks from non-Hindus and can even sacrifice their lives.
  • The Christian authorities from Bhagyanagar tormented our activists and their family members day and night; but our activists convinced their relatives that stopping the conversions is our duty. Therefore, their relatives are also proud of them today.
  • Instead of following the path of Gandhiji, we opted for Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s path. Therefore the conversions at Bhagyanagar stopped completely.
  • Time and again we had the spiritual experience that God only protected us !
  • To stop the cow-slaughter on the spot, we used the tactics that can be understood by the butchers. As a result the cow-slaughter was stopped.
  • Police do not easily give permission to any of our programs. They even rejected permission to our Ram Navami festival. But we carried on with our celebrations and had a massive gathering of 3.5 lakh Hindus.  While doing all this, we had the spiritual experience that God only protected us time and again.
  • The struggle is unavoidable while uniting the Hindus; but we shall fight tooth and nail.

We need 500 active Hindus like Mr. Rajasingh Thakur ! – Pujya Narayan Premsai

After Mr. Rajasingh’s speech was over, Pujya Narayan Premsai, spontaneously came on to the dais and said, “Even if 500 active Hindus like Mr. Rajasingh become ready, I am sure that Hindu Nation will arrive.”

Hindus have to fight against the grabbers of their temples ! – PPS Nair, Keraliya Kshetra Paripalan Samiti

PPS Nair, Member, Keraliya Kshetra Paripalan Samiti from Mumbai said, “Hindu culture and Dharma was attacked by the foreigners before 1947. However, our own people began to attack Dharma after the independence. One such attack is in the form of proposed Temple Takeover Act in 2004. A sustained resistance from the Hindus made the Government to backtrack. Now, citing the reasons of increased incident of thefts in the temples the Government is trying to take over the temples again. Therefore, Hindus have to fight against these people who want to grab the temples and destroy the Hindu culture in turn.

Attack on temples amounts to attack on Hindu culture ! – Mr. Nandakumar, HJS, Kerala

Jyeshtha Krushna 7, Kaliyug Varsha 5114

Temples are the pillars of Hindu Dharma. The role of temples in protecting Hindu Dharma, its preservation and nurturing is extraordinary. Despite this fact the Government is conspiring to take over the temple with an eye on the money donated by the devout Hindus. Should that happen, Hindus will be deprived of spiritual and psychological support. Temples impart serenity to the mind. They are the very source of Chaitanya (Divine Consciousness). They are the protectors of Hindu culture and are the main centres of Hindu unity. An attack on temples amounts to major attack on Hindu culture.

So far it was only the Maharashtra Government that has conspired in various ways to take over major temples in Maharashtra namely Shri Siddhivinayak Temple, Mumbai; Shri Vitthal-Rakhumai Temple, Pandharpur and Sai Baba temple, Shirdi. The Government has so far looted crores of Rupees from these temples as per the information received through RTI act. Maharashtra Government attempted to take over rest of the temples from the state twice. However, timely formation of ‘Mandir Mahasangh’ by HJS with the help of trustees of other temples foiled the moves. As a result, this act did not materialise.

HJS is also opposing the temple takeover in the states of Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh and protesting against the incidents of Idol breakings in Goa and other states.

Chanting of Holy Vedic Mantras marked the start of the Historical 'Hindu Adhiveshan'

Unprecedented history to be created at Ramanathi (Goa) : All India Hindu Convention that augurs the Hindu Rashtra, begins with great splendour  !

Ramanathi, Ponda (Goa) : The first ever All India Hindu Convention  that is bringing  all those Hindus who have only one burning desire in their hearts, that of establishing a Hindu Rashtra that will bring them under one roof and creating flutter in the hearts of anti-Hindus, began with great splendour In Vidyadhiraj Hall of Shri Ramnath Temple here in Goa. There is but one remedy to put a halt to the genocide of Hindus, injustice on Hindus, oppression and attacks on Hindus and that is establishment of Hindu Rashtras. However, for creation of the Hindu Rashtra Hindu Unity is a must. It is a harsh historical fact that Hindus never get united for the cause of Dharma. Hindu religious leaders, leaders of various Hindu organisations, Hindu intellectuals and editor  have come on a common platform because of this Convention and the thousands of years old blemish that ‘Hindus can never unite’ has been wiped out. Hindu Rashtra will come into being in 2023. During the five days of this Convention, a planned programme will be chalked out from the perspective of  future course of action. Therefore, this Convention is not just other convention but is going to be a mega event of fascination for establishment of the Hindu Rashtra.

Presently, there are a number of Hindus who are active in every nook and corner of Bharat. However, they do not get guidance on a National scale. The scope of this Convention that is being organised by HJS indicates that this gap will be certainly filled up. Therefore, during the forthcoming years it will not at all be surprising if a strong Hindu voice is generated on a National scale  that will create flutter in the heart of anti-Hindus.

The Convention begins with traditional custom that spreads Chaitanya

The program began with blowing of conch. This was followed by the chanting of Vedic mantras by the students of Sanatan’s Ved Pathshala – Mr. Shreyas Pisolkar, Mr. Siddhesh karandikar and Mr. Omkar Padhye – in a  bhav-filled (with spiritual emotion) manner. The inauguration was done with traditional lighting of lamp at the auspicious hands of Pujya Yush Maharaj, Founder of Vaidynanik Dharmik Samaj and Lakheshwar Bramha Auyrvedic Trust , Gazipur .U.P.; Saint of Spiritual Science Research Foundation Pujya Atul Dighe and National Guide of HJS Pujya (Dr.) Charudatta Pingale .

Saints honoured  gratefully

The presence of three Saints on the dais transmitted Chaitanya to the devout Hindus present. God Himself blessed this Convention in the form of Saints. Therefore, the Saints were honoured with extreme gratefulness.

1. Pujya Yush Maharaj was honoured by Mr. Pradeep Khemka , HJS, Jharkhand

2. Pujya Atul Dighe was honoured at the hands of Mr. Shivaji Vatkar, State Co-ordinator of HJS, Maharashtra

3. Sanatan's Saint Pujya Charudatta Pingale was honoured by Mr. Pratap Singh Verma, HJS, Haryana State.

Reading of blessing form messages of Saints for the establishment of Hindu Rashtra

1. Shri Jayendra Saraswati, Jagadguru Shankaracharya of Kanchi Kamakoti Peetham
2. H.H. Ramanand Maharaj, Heir-disciple of H.H. Bhaktaraj Maharaj, source of inspiration of Sanatan Sanstha
3. H.H. Dr. Jayant Balaji Athavale, Sanatan Sanstha

Hindu Unity resulting from the ‘All India Convention for establishment of the Hindu Rashtra’ is a stepping stone for the establishment of the ‘Hindu Rashtra’, which will have the foundation of Dharma ! – Dr. Jayant Athavale

1. Establishment of the ‘Hindu Rashtra’ is a necessity not just for Hindus, but for the whole of mankind !

The term ‘Hindu Rashtra’ does not have a parochial meaning such as ‘A Nation belonging to Hindus’. The ‘Hindu Rashtra’ is not a religious term either. Synonyms of this term are ‘Divine Kingdom’, ‘Ramrajya’. The ‘Hindu Rashtra’ actually implies an ideal kingdom. In the (soon to be established) ‘Hindu Rashtra’, all the subjects will be happy and blissful; and hence, it is a necessity not just for Hindus, but for the whole of mankind. Having said that the ‘Hindu Rashtra’ means an ideal kingdom, it will be needless to add that Bharatiyas will benefit from it; additionally, it will facilitate propagation of Dharma throughout the world, due to which, people all over the world will get to know about Spirituality and spiritual practice. As a result, a Sattva-predominant atmosphere, akin to the ‘Hindu Rashtra’ will prevail on earth, making the whole of mankind happy.

2. Developing a sense of unity among the Hindu organisations will be the greatest result of this Convention !

The highest common objective of all Hindu organisations throughout Bharat has been the establishment of the ‘Hindu Rashtra’. Further, daily activities of all Hindu organisations have been directed towards the welfare of the society, Nation and Dharma. Despite the common objective, the same direction of efforts, achieving the goal looked a distant proposition. The only reason for this is the lack of unity among Hindu organisations. Therefore, no one has been able to see the manifestation of the power of the unity of Hindutva. This Convention will display that unity of Hindus. It will help get rid of the feeling of isolation among the Hindu organisations, and they will become active for the protection of Dharma with the confidence that they are as united as the ‘Pandavs’. Finally, the objective of establishing the ‘Hindu Rashtra’ will be realised.

From the perspective of result of the Convention, 30% Hindus getting permanently associated with the mission, while 30% Hindus getting associated occasionally will be the biggest result of this Convention. But for this Convention, it would have been very difficult for these patriotic and devout Hindus to even meet each other.

3. Chaitanya (Divine consciousness) in the word ‘Hindu Rashtra’ itself accomplishes the task

If someone thinks that the Hindus attending this Convention are doing so because of the appeal of one individual or the popularity of one organisation, they would be very mistaken. It is basically the Chaitanya in the term ‘Hindu Rashtra’ that has brought them here. Once the importance of Chaitanya is realised, no one can develop ego about accomplishing any task. Thus, an individual begins to perform the task and yet is devoid of ego. When this happens, he is blessed by God and the task becomes successful.

4.  This Convention has the blessings of Deities and Saints

This Convention is basically a Divine plan, not some human effort. Therefore, the Convention has the blessings of Deities and Saints. The entire Hindu society will benefit from these blessings at the level of Chaitanya. It is only natural that obstacles of demoniacal energies will have to be faced in the mission of Dharmasansthapana (Reinstatement of Dharma). Saints and evolved seekers of Sanatan Sanstha are using their spiritual prowess; they are chanting and praying for the elimination of these obstacles. Taking inspiration from this Convention, if Hindu organisations and the entire Hindu society contribute towards the establishment of the ‘Hindu Rashtra’, then they too will progress spiritually and move closer to God.

It is my prayer unto the Holy feet of my Sadguru H.H. Bhaktaraj Maharaj, that may the Hindu unity resulting from the ‘All India Convention for establishment of the Hindu Rashtra’ be the stepping stone for the establishment of the ‘Hindu Rashtra’ !

Jyeshtha Shukla 3/4, Kaliyug Varsha 5114

Ramnathi, Ponda (Goa) : ‘All India Convention’ is being organized here between 10th to 14th June 2012 with the purpose of ‘establishment of Hindu Nation’. More than 225 devout Hindus comprising leaders of various organizations, scholars, thinkers, advocates, editors etc. who are committed to the mission of protection of Hindu Nation and Dharma, will be participating in this Convention. It is one of the very rare occasions that leaders of pro-Hindu organizations are coming together like this and it is also historical from all angles because such ‘all India Convention’ has not taken place in the past 125 years.

Should Chidambaram resign? HM to face trial for 'rigging' elections

Chennai: In a huge setback to the Home Minister P Chidambaram, the Madras High Court on Thursday dismissed his strike off petition against High Court's order of Aug 2011.
The Madurai bench of Madras HC told Chidambaram to face the case, disposing of his plea seeking dismissal of the petition by AIADMK's Raja Kannappan, who lost the election.
Chidambaram, who is already under Opposition scanner over his alleged involvement in the 2G scam,  will now have to face the trial in the election case.
Chidambaram had filed petition that sought the dismissal of an election petition challenging his election to Lok Sabha from Sivaganga constituency in the 2009 general elections.
The petition challenging Chidambaram’s election was filed by RS Raja Kannappan, the AIADMK candidate who lost by a margin of 3,354 votes.
The Madras High Court on August 4 last year had rejected his plea to dismiss Kanappan's petition.
Following the verdict, Janata Party chief Subramanian Swamy demanded Chidambaram's resignation.
Kannappan had also sought a recount of votes polled in the constituency, particularly in Alangudi Assembly segment.
Chidambaram’s contention was that the petition filed by Kannappan had certain defects and it should not be entertained by the court.
The case shot into national prominence when Tamil Nadu chief minister Jayalalithaa wrote a letter to the chief election commissioner asking him to appoint Data Entry Operators of integrity and verify their credentials before assigning them to counting of votes for the elections held to the state assembly on April 13.
Chidambaram was declared elected by a margin of 3354 votes. He polled 3,34, 348 votes while Kannappan came a close second by polling 3,30,994 votes.

Vikram Sawarkar : 'Convention is for establishment of Hindu Nation as envisioned by Veer Savarkar'

7 June, 2012

Yesterday I read about the news of press conference held prior to start of Convention in daily ‘Sanatan Prabhat’. Congratulations, with lot of appreciation, to Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) for organizing such Convention and to daily ‘Sanatan Prabhat’ for publishing matter about the same! Hindu Mahasabha used to hold Convention when Veer Savarkar was alive and that used to be called as Hindu Convention. Later, such Convention was never held. Now, HJS took a very bold decision to organize ‘All India Hindu Convention’ for establishment of Hindu Nation as was envisioned by Savarkar. I feel happy and proud.

Savarkar’s definition of ‘undivided’ Hindustan was for Hindus and with Hindus; now a new hope has been aroused to achieve this goal. Many congratulations for such bold decision! Best wishes for the whole mission and Convention !

Press conference about All India Hindu Convention held at Mumbai

The Convention is going to witness the eco of the resolve to declare a Hindu Nation

If the history of our Nation of past centuries is referred to, we find that Hindustan was a Hindu Nation. The partition of Hindustan was religion based. After partition Pakistan became a Muslim Nation, whereas Bharat became a Secular Nation. However, when 85% of the citizens of this Nation are Hindus, how can Bharat be termed a Secular Nation ? Today in the whole world we find that there are 153 Christian Nations, 52 Muslim Nations, 12 Buddhist Nations. Jews, whose number is negligible also have a Nation of their own. Hence, Hindus who number 100 crores, have been hoping since Independence to have a Nation of their own. Detailed discussions are going to be held in this Convention to declare the Hindu Nation as visioned by the Holy men such as Swami Vivekanand, Yogi Arvind, Swatantryaveer Sawarker, H.H. Golwalkar Guruji, all of whom belong to Hindu society.

A concrete plan to establish Hindu Nation, Hindu unity and protection of Hindus

Efforts will be made during the Convention to decide the plan of action for establishment of Hindu Nation. As a first step, different plans that are to be implemented at State, Region and District levels to unite all the Hindu organisations will be finalised. Also, concrete action-plan to stop the attacks on Hindu Dharma such as Temple takeover by the Governments, religious conversions, Love Jihad, strangulation of Hindu organisations etc. are going to be finalised. Various plans are also going to be finalised to impart Dharmashikshan to Hindus at village level.

Independent sessions of Editors, Intellectuals, Lawyers

Discussion sessions of Hindu Intellectual and Editors are going to be held separately during the Convention. So also, on the last two days, there is going to be a Convention of pro-Hindu Lawyers. Advocates of Supreme Court and High Court, as well as retired Judges are going to participate in this Convention. During the meet, a National action-plan is going to be finalised to for giving momentum to the cause of Hindu Dharma.

During the Conventions Resolutions are going to be adopted on the subjects of Protection of Dharma, Protection of Hindus, Terrorism etc. So that these Resolutions reach the Hindu Society, a public Press Conference has been arranged at the venue on the last day of Convention.
